The Corporate Suits At Hearst Newspapers Were Stupid Not To Have Ex-Greenwich Time Editor Joe Pisani and Ex-Greenwich Time Reporters Like Susie "The Dish" Costaregni sign a non-compete agreement as part of their severance package. Now They Are Free To Continue To Embarrass The Greenwich Time And Stamford Advocate Without Limitations.

When Joe Pisani And Stamford Mayor Dan Malloy Misuse Tax Dollars And Public Resources At Stamford's Ferguson Library For Ticket Sales To A private Party At The Greenwich Hyatt. Pisani's 30 Years At The Greenwich Time Are Mentioned Over And Over And Over And Over.............

Greenwich Roundup,

I love it that Joe Pisani has to tell everyone, not only did some unknown or currupt losers throw him a party, but he has incredible humility. What is that ? THE OXYMORONIC Statement of 2008? Hey, I am THE MAN and I'm so modest too?

Who went to the party? Rhetorical question, my friends. The same people Dilenschneider had over to his cozy ass-kissing shmooze fes? What is with this Bob the Builder of ass-kissing shmooze fests? Dilenshneider Firm madness mania? Who are these people anyway and why does anyone care about Pisani or mystery guests or humility or the party no one went to?

Hey bob d....wanna kiss my ass, buddy? Not rhetorical, my friends. Do ya?????

My guess is Bishop Lori wasn't at this "let's give Joe a round of ass-applause." party. He's learned he needs to disengage from crooks, liars, and people who are immoral. The Bishop's PR man, Joe McAlleer said "OMGGG.....stay away from these people William.....will you ever learn....omyfreakinGGGGG?????!!!!!!!

Sorry Suzy Costergarglejoeini...The Dish of Zippo.....all that isn't even worth printing, hon. Keep close to Joe's ass, honey. It's your only job. And just be quiet. You have nothing to say. At All. You can't write, babe. You're also deeply disturbed.

Oh thank you Joe for being THE BEST of the WORST EDITORS in newspaper history.

You make me look so goooooooooooooood :) Hey I wanna a party people!!!!!!!!

I think you sat on your big ass for 30 years doing squat....for that you should be tortured....

xxoo,

another Joe (whose no shmoe)

COMMENT:

Dear Joe No Shome,
I am continually amazed at the anger that Joe Pisani has caused in the community over the last 30 years. Almost 75% all of the Greenwich Bloggers Either Feel That They Were Burned By Joe Pisani's Greenwich Time Or The Were Fired By The Greenwich Time While Working For Pisani.

You appear to have a great deal of inside information on the Ex-Greenwich Time Editor Joe Pisani. However, some of the information is hard to follow. I Know that Bob Dilenschneider is Pisani's new boss in New York City and this is the second party in less than a month that has been promoted by the two places Pisani volunteers (The Greenwich Post and his word press blog called Our Greenwich).

Both Susie "The Dish", who is Pisani's former high school student and his ex-Greenwich Time gossip hound has used her new volunteer job at the Greenwich Post to promote parties involving Bob Dilenschneider, Dan Malloy and the Ex-Editor of the Greenwich Time.

Is Dilenschneider using Pisani and The Greenwich Post to help promote Dan Malloy for future or current business deals in Stamford?
It is odd that the Greenwich Post keeps mentioning Malloy and those that work under his administration at the Furguson Library?

Now Pisani's word press blog that is filled with fired Greenwich Time employees, which is called, "Our Greenwich" is promoting Stamford Mayor Dan Malloy. There were two Dan Malloy posts with in a week of each other.

What does Stamford Mayor Dan Malloy have to do with "Our Greenwich".

Further was Hearst Newspapers and the publisher of the Greenwich Time so stupid that they did not get a no compete agreement from the Ex-Greenwich Time Editor and reporters.

Joe Pisani's shameless self promotion and self reporting on his repetitive Dan Malloy parties reflects very badly on both the Greenwich Time and Stamford Advocate, Because The Parties Are Always Promoted By Saying Joseph Pisani, former editor and senior vice president of Greenwich Time and the Stamford Advocate will Be At The party or will be the keynote speaker .

The Corporate Suits At Hearst Newspapers At Hearst Media And The Greenwich Time Were Stupid To Let Pisani And Costaregni Go To The Greenwich Post And Compete Directly With Their Property.

Moreover, Only A Bunch Of Corporate Morons Would Let All Of Those Ex-Greenwich Time Employees Like Joy Haenlein , Sarah Darer Littman , Susie Costaregni . And Ex-Greenwich Time Editor Joe Pisani set up a web site that competes directly with the Greenwich Time.

The Corporate Suits At Hearst Newspapers Were As Stupid As They Look To Give Out Severance Packages With "No Strings Attached"

10/25/08 Greenwich Time News Links; TOP STORY: How To Survive A Boring Jim Himes House Party In Norwalk

Boring Party Survival Tip #1:

If you really find the need to get away quickly, try sending a text for someone to call you with a "problem" that needs your immediate assistance. This will help you to make an excuse to leave.

NORWALK - Seizing on another day of losses on Wall Street, Democratic congressional challenger Jim Himes on Friday accused opponent U.S. Rep. Christopher Shays, R-Conn., of back-pedaling from his support of efforts to privatize Social Security.

At the home of one of his volunteers, Himes told a group of graying supporters during an informal news conference that such a plan to allow workers to invest a percentage of their payroll taxes in the private markets would have had a devastating effect on Americans, especially those near or at retirement age.

"This is a key point of difference between me and Chris Shays, and one that he's deadly wrong on," Himes told the group of six women, all but one of whom said they were registered Democrats.

The Shays campaign responded that Himes was using scare tactics and distortions to sway elderly voters....

....Sohn said Shays has not been ambiguous on the issue.

"Chris has been very clear there should be no changes to Social Security without a bipartisan debate and discussion with the American people," Sohn said. "The system needs repair in the future and all (Himes) is trying to do is scare current and near-term beneficiaries into supporting his do-nothing proposal."

Comment:

Wait A Minute Greenwich Reporter Neil Vigdor.

Jim Himes Talking To Six Unnamed Broads In NORWALK Is Front Page News ????

The News Is Jim Hime's Campaign Staff And The Greenwich Democratic Party Couldn't Organize A House Party Of More Than A Half A Dozen People!!!!

Gingrich stumps for Shays

Undaunted by predictions that this is a Democratic year or Connecticut's status as a solidly blue state, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was in Greenwich Tuesday for a breakfast fundraiser to support Rep. Christopher Shays, R-Conn., who is in the toughest re-election battle of his career.

Aides to Shays said there was plenty of appetite among supporters of the 21-year incumbent to see Gingrich, the pivotal figure of the 1994 Republican revolution.

"You know that almost 100 people showed up at 7:30 a.m. on a cold Tuesday morning," said Michael Sohn, campaign manager for Shays. "I think that people are curious to hear what speaker Gingrich is saying. He's one of the most intellectual people in politics."

The event, held at the Winding Lane home of Christy and Sheldon Gordon, who is a director of several companies, including one that specializes in off-shore oil and gas exploration, brought in $50,000, according to the Shays campaign....

Comment:

I Wonder If Chris Shay's Appreciates How Hard The Greenwich Republican Party Works For Him.

Election After Election Greenwich Republicans Save Shays' You Know What.

Yet Chris Shays Year After Year Fails To Deliver Any Bacon To Greenwich.

Wouldn't Be Nice If Chris Shay's Paid Back These Hard Working Greenwich Republicans With Some Special Money Ear Marked For The Greenwich Public Schools?

I Am Sure That Chris Shays Knows That The Greenwich Republican Party Volunteers Work Ten Times As Hard As Their Democratic Rivals.

For Example, Take Republican Volunteer Named Pat.

Pat Comes Up To Me Asking If She Can Put A John McCan't Sign In Front Of My House.

So Have I Tell Her "Pat You Know That I Voted For Bush The Last Two Times, But This Time I am Voting For Obama. Things Have Gotten So Screwed Up I Just Want To Give The Other Guys A Chance."

So Pat Says,"Don't Be Silly. Give Me Your Email Address I Want To Send You Some Information."

Then Pat Says That She Wants To Still Put Up A Sign And Promises It Will Only Be A Little Sign.....

.....If Jim Himes Really Wants To Win He Some How Has To Try And Get Some Dedicated Blond Republican Volunteers Like Pat Ritch To Work For His Campaign.

And Her Is The Funny Part Of This Story.

These Hard Working And Loyal Greenwich Republicans Don't Even Like John McCain. Greenwich Republicans Are Conservative Bush Republican And McCain Really Is Not Their Man.

Have The Democrats Have Gotten Any Greenwich Republicans To Put Up Any Obama Signs????.......

This Is Jim Himes' Election To Lose

Chris Shays Should Be More Than 10 Points Behind By Now.

Once Again The Greenwich Republican Machine Is Out Maneuvering The Democrats At Every Twist And Turn.

Election tradition at GHS continues

The majority of students voting in Greenwich High School's mock election this week won't be hitting the polls Nov.

Town raises UN flag

For the 20th time in as many years, a sky-blue flag showing a white Earth flanked by olive branches was raised above Town Hall Friday morning.

Town man gets 6 years in drug death

Frank Chimblo Jr.. was sentenced to six years in prison Friday in state Superior Court in Stamford after pleading guilty to charges of second-degree manslaughter and illegal sale of narcotics stemming from the 2007 overdose death of Kyle Lendenmann.

Senior Assistant State's Attorney Richard Colangelo said the plea agreement was agreed upon by the Lendenmann family.

Judge Referee Martin Nigro also imposed eight years of special parole which will be applied after Chimblo completes his sentence. He faced up to ten years on the manslaughter charge alone, which is a class C felony.

Chimblo, 35, of 13-2 Harold St., in Cos Cob, was arrested on Oct. 3 by Greenwich police who alleged that he sold narcotic substances including methadone to Lendenmann on two occasions, and that Lendenmann later died from ingesting the drugs, according to a police press release. Lendenmann was a junior at Greenwich High School at the time of his death......

Incomplete Reporting: Where's Cathy???

What happened to Catherine Bausch, 29, of 48 Truman St., in Norwalk who was also arrested in connection with the overdose incident and charged with illegal sale of narcotics on Sept. 28.

The Greenwich Police Deparment said Bausch sold the drugs to Chimblo, who in turn sold them to Kyle Lendenmann.

Did Catherine Bausch cut a deal with the police and proseuters, or will she face a judge in the near future?

02/13/07 - Finally: Greenwich Cops Reopen Bria Drug Death Case

  • Ridberg said police also are continuing a criminal investigation into the death of Kyle Lendenmann, a 17-year-old Greenwich High School student, found dead at his home on Feb. 23 of last year of what authorities said was a methadone overdose.

  • "We're in discussions with prosecutors on how to go about bringing both cases to a successful conclusion," Ridberg said.

  • Stamford police two weeks ago quickly charged a man with first-degree manslaughter for allegedly providing drugs and failing to call 911 when Dr. Ian Rubins, a Greenwich plastic surgeon, became ill from an overdose. Rubins later died.

  • Stephan Seeger, a lawyer for Bria's family, said he provided Ridberg with the toxicological results as well as civil court affidavits in which witnesses made statements that are inconsistent with those initially given to police.

  • The new evidence is drawn from a lawsuit filed by Bria's parents in state Superior Court in Stamford in 2005. Named in the civil suit are Katie Hanscom, Savannah Lamotte, Megan Caron and Jason Cunningham, four youths who spent time with Bria the night of his death, and Cunningham's mother, Donna Cunningham, who picked up her son the morning after the party.

  • The suit alleges the four youths gave Bria illegal and/or prescription drugs at the party. It also alleges that the defendants, except for Lamotte, worked to cover up rather than notify Bria's parents, police, paramedics or anyone who could render Bria medical assistance.

02/06/08 - Dr. Ian Rubin's Family Has Complained About The Press, But At Least The Family Got Justice.

  • Like Dr. Rubins, No One Called To Help 19 Year Old John J. Bria.

  • But the Bria family has went three years without getting justice.

  • The Greenwich Police Department closed the case and Megan Caron, Katie Hanscom, Savannah Lamotte and Jason Cunningham have ecaped responsibility for the Byram boy's death.

  • Nor has anyone been punished in the drug death of Kyle Lendenmann, a 17-year-old Greenwich High School student.

  • One year ago, Kyle was found dead at his home from what the Greenwich Police Department said was a methadone overdose.

  • Both of these Greenwich families are waiting for Justice for their boys.

  • Things could have been worse.

  • Leonard Bajramaj could of killed Dr. Rubins in Greenwich, where murders often go unpunished.

  • The Greenwich Police Department should re-open the Bria and Lendenmann cases and bring those responsible to justice.

02/03/08 - The Stamford Police Know How To Properly Investigate A Drug Death

  • MESSAGE TO GREENWICH POLICE CHIEFDAVID RIDBERG:

  • Stamford police have quickly went after a man and charged him with with first-degree manslaughter for providing drugs and failing to call 911 when Dr. Ian Rubins, a Greenwich plastic surgeon, became ill from an overdose. Rubins later died

  • But What About The A Dead Byram Boy That Was The Son Of A Landscaper?

  • No one is arresting those that supplied him with drugs and covered up his death.

  • Do you have to be a rich plastic surgeon to get justice?

  • What about John J. Bria's Family.

  • The Greenwich Police Department for three years failed to charge anyone in the manslaughter of John Bria of Byram.

  • Katie Hanscom, Savannah Lamotte, Megan Caron and Jason Cunningham have walked away from a night of hard illegal drugs without as much as a slap on the wrist.

  • None of these druggies was ever held accountable for the death of a 19 year old Byram boy.

  • THERE ARE TOO MANY UNSOLVED DEATHS IN GREENWICH.

  • Why Hasn't The Greenwich Police Department Went After The People Involved In Kyle Lendenmann Death.

  • Kyle was a 17-year-old Greenwich High School student who was found dead at his home last year of a methadone overdose a year ago.

  • But the citizens of Greenwich Never Hear Of These Deaths.

  • The Greenwich Police Department Needs To Start Going After People Who Give Our Kids Hard Drugs.

At about 11:20 a.m., a state trooper spotted DeFelice's personal car while checking the Fairfield rest area on I-95 South. As more troopers and Fairfield officers arrived at the rest area, DeFelice fled south on the highway.

Alan Golder, convicted of two Greenwich burglaries as the so-called "Dinnertime Bandit," was sentenced to 15 years in prison in state Superior Court in Stamford on Friday.

Golder was found guilty in August on four charges stemming from two Greenwich burglaries occurring in 1997, one on Sept. 25 on Woodside Road and another on Oct. 28 at a Round Hill Road residence. On Friday he received 10 years for each count of burglary, 12 years for a larceny conviction and 15 years for kidnapping. The sentences are to run concurrently.

After his release, Golder must serve 10 years of special parole, according to the sentence handed down by Judge John Kavanewsky.

In a statement to the court prior to sentencing, Golder told the judge he was confused as to the charges he was convicted on and blamed the outcome of the case on the legal work of his attorney, Howard Ehring.

"I believe Howard Ehring sold me out," said Golder. "I think the jury was confused when they found me guilty."

Kavanewsky told Golder that he had no one to blame but himself.

"Mr. Golder, you may have some grandiose illusions that you are an icon in the industry," Kavenewsky said to Golder. "But put simply, you are a convict."

Kavenewsky also said he believed Golder received excellent representation from Public Defender Ehring. In response to Golder's statement, Ehring told the judge he believed his client was upset about a difference in opinion over what evidence should have been presented in court.

"Certainly he believes he is innocent," said Ehring. "We did have some disagreements on evidence. He is upset at this point.

"But I do think that he has been rehabilitated," said Ehring, adding that Golder had lived for nearly a decade without incident in Europe.......

Plenty of things went bump in the night on the pages of local students' scary story endings.

Greenwich Time this coming week will print endorsements for the Nov. 4 elections, from state representative up through president.

To the editor:

While we appreciate Greenwich Time's interest in our programs, we were upset to see the negative spin your headline ("Chicken suits and marijuana take debate to another level," Oct. 17) and related article put on the League of Women Voters' Greenwich High School program with the two candidates for the 36th District state Senate seat.

The League's Program Committee and Greenwich High School had been working to put the event together since June. It was the intent of both organizations to develop a program that would engage new and future voters with first-hand information from actual candidates and to have them interact with a question-and-answer period. We wanted to emphasize the importance of state and local elections and the impact that these elected officials have over many aspects of the students' daily lives.

For those in the auditorium that morning, the program worked beautifully. There was a great deal of information conveyed by the candidates to the students. We thank the candidates, Democrat Mark Diamond and Republican Scott Frantz for their time and enthusiasm for the project.

For their parts, the students expressed serious concerns for their immediate future, particularly about the economic situation. To see the next day's headline trivialize an event that was a positive experience for all concerned was very discouraging.
