Police: Stamford Woman Hid In Dumpster After Stealing From CVS

A Stamford woman who stole items from a CVS in Greenwich fled the scene and attempted to hide in a Dumpster, but an experienced police officer was able to sniff out the case and find the suspect late Tuesday afternoon, police said. Heisze Chan, 36, of 109 Webbs Hill Road, was charged with first-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny.

Former Greenwich woman takes plea in Darien home invasion

A former Greenwich woman charged in a Darien home invasion last year, along with other burglaries around the state, pleaded guilty Thursday to charges that will send her to prison for eight years. She returns to Stamford for sentencing in mid-June.
