The Greenwich Department of Social Services' Campership Program is accepting applications for full and partial scholarships for its annual summer camp program. Families with children age 4 to 14, who are Greenwich residents and whose income does not exceed 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines may apply until the March 27 deadline.

The patron's arrest came about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, March 1 after several officers responded to the Church Street restaurant on "the report of a violent, disruptive patron refusing to leave when asked by management," according to a police report.

Greenwich Church Benefit Helps Heart Care International

GREENWICH, Conn. Second Congregational Church raised $135,000 to benefit Heart Care International, a Greenwich-based nonprofit organization that provides life-saving heart care procedures for indigent children in underdeveloped countries, at its 13th annual Valentine's Gala on Feb. 7. The event brought 110 people together for singing, dancing, home cooking and fellowship.

Collection Owner Leads Talk On Maps, Sea Charts At Greenwich's Bruce

A discussion of The Bruce Museum's new exhibition, " Discovering the 'New World': Maps & Sea Charts from the Age of Exploration," will be held on March 1. The exhibition, which will run until May 31, features more than 30 European-made maps and sea charts inspired by New World exploration.
