Why Are The Toxicological Tests Taking So Long?
I AM ONE OF JOEY'S OTHER GRANDPARENTS THAT DIDN'T GET MENTIONED.
I AM WONDERING WHY IT TAKES A COUPLE WEEKS TO GET A TOXICOLOGY REPORT DONE? AND THEY SAY THAT WE HERE IN THE OZARKS ARE BACKWARDS AND BEHIND THE TIMES! WE CAN GET THE SAME TOXICOLOGY REPORT DONE IN A FEW HOURS.
STILL SOUNDS LIKE A COVER UP TO ME.
ALL INDICATIONS SAY THE DRIVER WAS DRIVING AT A HIGH SPEED IF HE HAD BEEN DOING 25MPH HE COULD HAVE STOPPED IN A SHORT DISTANCE, BICYCLE PARTS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN STREWN OVER A LONG DISTANCE, JOEY WOULD HAVE NOT BEEN CARRIED A LONG DISTANCE ON THE SUV BEFORE HE WAS DUMPED OFF, ACCORDING TO THE REPORT.
ALSO ACCORDING TO THE REPORT JOEY WAS HIT SO HARD IT SOUND LIKE AN EXPLOSION, THAT WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPEN IF THE DRIVER HAD BEEN GOING 25MPH, THINK ABOUT!! THIS PERSON DOESN'T REALIZE JUST WHAT HE HAS DONE, JOEY WAS GREATLY LOVED BY HIS FAMILY AND I DON'T MEAN JUST THE BORSELIO'S
HE HAD FAMILY GRANDPARENTS IN MISSOURI AND IN FLORDIA DARLENE BISHOP MOTHER TO JESSICA LEWIS JOEY'S MOTHER AND I'M JESSICA'S FATHER.
ANYWAY HE HAD FAMILY UNCLES IN CALIFORNIA AND COUSINS AND SOME IN TEXAS NEICES, JOEY HAD FAMILY FROM NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, AND WEST.
JOEY WAS LOVED BY HIS CO-WORKERS, OLD SCHOOL FRIENDS, FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND THE FUNERAL LOOKED LIKE SOME "HEAD OF STATE" WAS BEING BURIED THAT DAY. THERE WAS AT LEAST 7 LIMOS, THE MAYOR WAS THERE, THE CHURCH WAS FILLED TO CAPICITY AND OVER FLOWING.
THAT MY FRIEND WAS HOW MUCH MY GRANDSON WAS LOVED IN HIS SHORT LIFE.
SO I HOPE AND PRAY THAT THIS DRIVER DOESN'T GET OFF WITH A SLAP ON THE HAND,
I DON'T CARE WHO HIS FATHER IS, MAYBE HIS FATHER SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE OF A FATHER TO HIM! AND HE WOULDN'T HAVE TO KISS EVERYBODY'S BUTT TO GET HIS KID OFF!

Sir I am truly sorry for your loss.
I personally hope and pray that the CT States Attorney can provide justice to Joey and your entire family, despite the Greenwich Police Department's failure to do the right thing.
I can tell you that there are many good people here in Greenwich who are outraged at how this has been handled and are praying that your family will be comforted.
Hopefully, the truth comes out about the heartless 20 Year Old Mystery Driver that is being protected By the Greenwich Police Department.
Through out this controversy, I have only heard what a very special and kind young man your grandson was. From all accounts he was willing to help anyone who he found in need.
It is a horrific shame that such a good person was left to die on the side of the road by such a selfish and thoughtless individual.
Perhaps, you should call or write to the State's Attorney for Greenwich.
