Greenwich Blog Spotlight - Greenwich Diva - Tipper Gore In Greenwich
Michelle Martin, Tipper Gore, James Martin

DISORDERLY
A 27-year-old Stamford man was arrested May 16 and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. Police had been sent to the scene after receiving a 911 call about a woman screaming. Upon arriving at the scene, officers reportedly saw the man running away out of the home’s rear courtyards and was detained. According to reports, the victim told police that she had been trying to leave with her children to go to a friend’s house and the man became very angry and grabbed her cell phone from her and smashed it against the floor, breaking it into several pieces. When the woman tried to leave, the man allegedly then came up behind her and shoved her into the open rear car door face first, causing her lip to swell, and then put her in a headlock preventing her from breathing for several seconds. She told police the man threw her onto the ground and approached her apartment, causing the children to become scared and start to cry. The woman suffered minor injuries to her bottom lip, right shoulder and back but told police she didn’t want medical attention. The man was released on a $2,000 cash bond and was due in court May 16.
