There was smoke in the eyes and throats of Greenwich High School students Thursday afternoon after someone launched a smoke bomb in the main entrance glass corridor as the 2,700 students were being dismissed for the spring break holiday.
According to Greenwich Public Schools spokeswoman Kim Eves, the smoke bomb was detonated at 2:17 p.m. in the glass corridor connecting the sciene and music wing to the main building. "It was dismissal and students were evacuated. The Greenwich Fire Department responded because a fire alarm was pulled," Eves said.
