Most of our schools are without power at this time. The Town emergency
crews are working to clear the roads and CL&P is bringing in crews from
throughout the region to assist in restoring power as rapidly as possible.
The Superintendent of Schools attends daily Town emergency planning
meetings and is updated regularly on the progress being made. The
Superintendent will make decisions about the opening status of the schools
one day at a time as information becomes available.
Please continue to check the web site, phone messages, local media, etc. as you are able to
for updated information. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this extraordinary time. Be safe, drive carefully and avoid ANY loose wires.
