Greenwich Shows It's 'Positively More' For Girl Teens

The Junior League of Greenwich recently completed its newest program, Positively More focuses on positive development of 11-and 12-year-old girls. The latest in a series of five separate sessions focused on 11- and 12-year-old girls and aims to give girls the tools to avoid questionable situations, lessen the consequences of conflicts, and identify lessons learned by challenges.

Community Health Events At Greenwich Hospital Begin Tuesday

Greenwich Hospital is offering special events on Tuesdays, March 10, 17, 24 and 31, which include music, meditation, blood pressure readings and more. A nurse will be on site to take blood pressure readings and answer health questions from 10 a.m. to noon at the Greenwich Hospital Cafeteria Atrium.

GHS cheerleaders to compete

The Greenwich High School cheerleading team will compete in the CIAC Class LL Championships Saturday at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven. The 24-team event is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Greenwich is slated to perform second in the meet.
