Good Friday Service and Concert

The First Congregational Church of Greenwich invites you to a special choral performance of John Rutter's Requiem on Good Friday, April 3. Our annual tradition of presenting a time to gather on Good Friday continues this year on April 3 at 8:00 pm in our historic Meetinghouse with a performance of the moving masterpiece, Requiem by John Rutter. The outstanding First Congregational Church Chancel Choir and Chamber Ensemble will be accompanied by flute, oboe, cello, harp, percussion, and organ.

Police: Armed Robber Strikes Greenwich Gas Station On Route 1

Greenwich Rallies for Gun Safety and Team 26 Cyclists

The Team 26 cyclists left Newtown for Washington on Saturday where they will lobby for gun reform in the wake of the Sandy Hook shootings. More than 100 people came out to support Team 26 - the dedicated group of cyclists who stopped in Greenwich on Saturday as part of their 400-mile ride to Washington, DC where they hope to garner Congressional support for stricter gun safety laws including background checks for gun permit applicants and a ban on large capacity gun magazines.

Artist Exhibits Her 'Visage' Collection in Old Greenwich

Pioneering equine sports medicine and surgery specialist Ben Martin has died in the US after a long illness at the age of 68. Dr Benson Bennett Martin, Jr., VMD, of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, died March 18. He spent all of his 34-year veterinary career at New Bolton Center, the large animal hospital of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine .
