A forty-one-year-old Greenwich woman was arrested after she pulled a kitchen knife on a babysitter who was watching her three grandchildren. According to reports, last Thursday Narciza Cardenas went to visit her grandchildren and when she arrived at the Spring Street home, she found the 22-year-old babysitter on the phone and not watching the children, ages, 6, 3, and 3 months. The two women got into a verbal confrontation and according to the police report "after attempting to grab the phone, Cardenas went into the kitchen of the house and grabbed a kitchen knife and began to wave it around while yelling at the babysitter.
The report says that the three children were present during the altercation. Cardenas was charged with second-degree threatening, disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a minor. She was released on $1,000.
