06/29/10 Foley for Governor Campaign Comments on Gubernatorial Debate

Today the Republican and Democrat candidates for Governor of Connecticut participated in a debate with the Stamford Chamber of Commerce, Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, and Keep CT Moving. Tom Foley for Governor Campaign Manager Justin Clark released the following statement following the debate:

“Thanks to the Stamford Chamber of Commerce, Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, and Keep CT Moving for putting together a terrific venue for discussing issues that are important to Connecticut citizens. It provided an opportunity for voters to get a better understanding of the candidates’ views. Tom Foley put forward his vision for Connecticut and it came through in that debate. He won it by articulating a clear Plan Forward for Connecticut, and demonstrating how he is the only candidate for governor who will balance the budget without raising taxes, will bring back jobs and the economy and get Connecticut working again.”
