Staples boys lacrosse falls in Class L final

The Greenwich High School boys lacrosse team raises the Class L State Championship trophy above their heads at the conslusion of their match against Staples High School who they defeated 13-10 at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, Saturday, June 14, 2014.



The anticipation and excitement grew for Greenwich High School as each second passed during the last minute of Saturday's Class L Tournament final against Staples and when time expired, the Cardinals' long-awaited celebration began.
