After a few final nips and tucks, the Board of Education gave its unanimous approval Dec. 14 to the $119 million 2007- 08 schools budget. The board-approved budget was cut from the originally proposed level of $120 million, with reductions in maintenance and from Hamilton Avenue School's preschool and proposed magnet program.
