Republican gubernatorial challenger Tom Foley of Greenwich has a 6-point lead among likely voters in a rematch of the 2010 campaign with Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, according to the latest Quinnipiac University Poll. Foley has a 46-40 edge with 56 days left in the campaign, based mostly on 48-35 percent support from unaffiliated voters, the state's largest group of voters.
