Voters believe Foley, a businessman from Greenwich making his second run for governor, would do a better job handling the state's economy, the poll of likely voters found. Foley's whopping, 82 to 9 percent lead among Republicans is bolstered by a 48 to 35 percent edge among unaffiliated voters, who make up the bulk of Connecticut's electorate.
