Teich Garden Systems LLC announced today the completion of a new garden system at Eagle Hill School in Greenwich, Connecticut. Eagle Hill is a language-based, remedial program committed to educating children with learning disabilities.
Planting day is being held today with students of all ages getting their hands dirty planting an assortment of squash, peppers, cabbage and tomatoes. Maria DiPalma, Educational Advisor at Eagle Hill, said “We are excited to offer our students the opportunity to learn in our new garden system. The garden brings to life many concepts taught in our classes and will be a wonderful enhancement to our curriculum. I want to thank our parents for their efforts in raising the funds to make this possible.”
Mark Teich, founder of TGS, added, “We are proud to have brought our ‘Classroom in Every Garden’ to Eagle Hill. The garden will offer students fun, hands-on experiences that we hope will inspire healthy eating habits for life.”
