Pisani gives speech at Salvation Army event

Supposedly Written by Kristan Zimmer

Joseph F. Pisani, former editor and senior vice president of Greenwich Time and the Stamford Advocate was keynote speaker at the recent annual meeting of the Greenwich Service Unit of the Salvation Army held at Luca’s Steak House.

Mr. Pisani, a principal with the Dilenschneider Group in New York City, spoke about “a spiritual malaise of the baby boomer years,” and congratulated the local Salvation Army Unit on its many years of service to needy Greenwich residents. “Happiness is in giving and surely that is your reward,” he said.

Community Gifts Coordinator Alison Brush from the Greenwich Social Services Department, who also serves as liaison to the Salvation Army Service Unit, reported that in fiscal 2007-08 there were 60 requests for emergency aid including the prevention of evictions and utility shut-offs, 24 cases; purchasing beds and other furniture, 12 cases; car repair, tires and payment, five cases; air conditioners, three cases; and aid for fuel, medical care, glasses, clothing, and moving, seven cases. Two hundred twenty-eight children received boots and shoes for the Back to School Program; 20 children and 25 seniors were granted camperships; food was purchased for the Social Services Department’s Emergency Food Closet; and eight requests for Stop & Shop shopping cards were granted. Additional aid from the Service Unit included Greenwich Adult Day Care, six cases; child care, two cases; employability, three cases and heavy duty cleaning, three cases. Mrs. Brush also reported that in July, the Greenwich Service Unit held its third annual Food Drive at Town Hall where employees donated more than 500 pounds of food for Neighbor to Neighbor and the Social Services Department’s Food Closet.

Once Again Ex-Greenwich Time Editor Joe "The Censor" Pisani

Grenwich Roundup Sources Tell Us That Greenwich Post Editor Kristan Zimmer Did Not Even Write The Article Above Even Though She Put Her Name On The By Line.

In Fact, They She Was Not Even At The Salvation Army Event Held At Luca's Steak House.

Our Source Is Speculating That The Article Was Actually Written By One Of Joe's Girls Possibly His So-Called "Adopted" Daughter Susie "The Dish" Costaregni, Who Just Happened To Be Joe's Favorite Student Back In Catholic High School.

The Article Supposedly Written By Greenwich Post Editor Kristan Zimmer Mentions That Joe Pisani Is The Ex-Greenwich Time Editor, But Fails To Mention That Online Traffic And Print Circulaion Shot Up Over 22% After Pisani And The Other Ex-Greenwich Time Employees That Hang Out At Our Greenwich Were Fired By The Papers Owners.

If Greenwich Post Editor Kristen Zimmer Really Did Write The Shameless Self Promotion Piece, Then Why Didn't She Mention That Joe"The Censor" Pisani Works For Free At The Kitty Litter Liner Known As The Greenwich Post.

It Is Unethical For A Newspaper To Write About One Of It's Editorial WritterAnd Not Mention In The Article That The Person Is Not Affiliated With The Newspaper. It Ok For The Greenwich Post To Shamelessly Promote The Efforts Of Joe Pisani As He Tries To Revise History And Salvage What Left Of His So-Called Legacy.

However, The Little Puff Piece Should Read Something Like Joe Is Great, Joe Is Wonderful And Joe Is Fantastic Even Though He Helped Martha Moxley's Killer. Oh By The Way, Joe Is One Of Our Columnists.
The Failure Of This Greenwich Time Puff Piece To Mention Joe Pisani Causes One To Think That It Was Written By Pisani Or One Of The Ex-Greenwich Time Girls Like Joy Haenlein, Because It Is Rummored Around Town That They Are Embarrassed That They Are Still Unemployed From The Newspaper Business After Six Months.
Joe Pisani And His So-Called "Adopted" Daughter Susie Costaregni Are Not Proud That They Are Working Toghther For Free At The Local Weekly Rag Known As The Greenwich Post. They Probably Are Trying To Stay Visible As They Look For Another Newspaper Into The Ground.
But, Who Knows Maybe Greenwich Post Editor Kristen Zimmer Did Violate Basic Journalistic Standards And Decided To Take The Unethical Route And Not Mention That Pisani Was A Volunteer Columnist At The Greenwich Post In Her Little Puff Piece.
This Would Not Be The First Time That Kristen Zimmer Violated Basic Journalistic Standards And Behaved In An Unetical Way - Remember When She Fired Paid Greenwich Post Real estate Reporter Chris Fountain, When Local Real Estate Companies Complained About Him Warning Of The Coming Down Turn Of The Greenwich Real Estate Market.
If You Want More Proof Of Unethical Behaviour At The Greenwich Post Then Just Read These Email Exchanges Involving Assistant Editor Sara Poirier and Editor Kristan Zimmer.
Unethical Greenwich Post Editor Kristen Zimmer Sold Out Greenwich Post Readers Before And Now She Is Doing It Again.
If Joe Pisani Is Truly Worried About His legacy He Should Ask Martha Moxley's Family To Forgive Him And He Should Start Apologizing To Bill Clark And The Other Bloggers Of Greenwich And Stamford Who Treated Badly While He Was Editor Of The Greenwich Time And Stamford Advocate.
But Joe Pisani Only Likes Talking About Christian Values And Not Demonstrating How A Real Humble Christian Is Supposed To Live.
