Dear Greenwich Roundup,
Just recently police were called to a house in Greenwich after there was a disturbance reported.
Just recently police were called to a house in Greenwich after there was a disturbance reported.
Meghan Grabarz who is the daughter of retired police officer Michael Grabarz came to pick up and drop off someone who was visiting the house. There was someone at the residence who police had told to stay away from Meghan Grabarz yet knowing that the person was there she proceeded to pull up in front of the house.
The person who police told to stay away, saw Meghan Grabarz pull up outside.
Meghan Grabarz had told someone at that house that she was going to kill that person who had been ordered by the Greenwich Police to stay away from.
This person who saw Meghan Grabarz pull up proceeded to go over to her vehicle and confront her regarding the threat.
She then proceeded to speed away, while yelling out the window.
About 15 minutes a police officer by the name of Mike who is in charge of the K-9 unit, showed up. He then asked to speak to the individual who was involved in the altercation.
Mike proceeded to use extreme profanity against this person telling this person "that he could arrest you motherf***** on the spot and I can kick your ass while I'm doing it."
Which is a verbal threat by a police officer.
Also Officer Mike told this person that the road was not owned by them so Meghan Grabarz therefore could be there outside the house. He then went on to explain that this person was at fault.
In fact 911 had not been called, Meghan Grabarz went to her father Michael Grabarz, who then sent a police car over to the residence.
Officer Mike used extreme profanity, to a person who had not made any verbal threats or jestures toward him, and was trying to intimidate the individual.
Officer Mike then came back later to inform this person that everything was ok, and that if this person ever went to the Grabarz household or even was parked outside they would be arrested.
Also if anything vandalism was done to the household that they would come to that person first.
Finally the Officer Mike explained that he is a friend of Michael Grabarz and that if they did anything he would take it personally, and Michael Grabarz was not involved with the altercation.
A similar situation happened in which Meghan Grabarz had an issue with another person, and regardless of what this person, the Greenwich Police, came into this persons house with no warning and no warrant.
The Greenwich Police are one sided and continue to be with any issues involving family members or friends of them, who are involved in altercations, even though that they are at fault.
The Greenwich Police department is functioning in a non productive manner by doing this.
They are wasting man power and time by doing this.
The police need to focus on more important issues such as domestic violence rather than worrying about what problems they need to fix in which their friend or family member is at fault for.
The situation of Meghan and Michael Grabarz is just an example of how the department is run.
To those who know someone who have an issue with anyone involved in the police department should be careful because the same thing could happen to them.
COMMENT:
It is a shame that the Greenwich Police Department youth officer could not help mediate this situation with Meghan Grabarz and others.
Sending A K-9 officer Mike Macchia who is cursing at the young people doesn't seem to be very helpful and appears to be adding fuel to the fire.
Perhaps these young folks should could sit down and resolve there differences with Greenwich High School Resource Officer Carlos Franco or School Resource Sargent Michael Reynolds.
Or maybe the best solution would be to refer Meghan Grabarz and other these kids over to over to the Greenwich Social Services Department,
Since Meghan come from a Greenwich Police Department family and previous police encounters about Meghan Grabarz's problems with others seem to have not went so well.

I'm surprised the Greenwich Roundup allows such bullshit bias slander to be portrayed on their pages. This is a disgrace.
