The town resident wanted speak to Mr. Tesei next week about how his employees responded to the storm.
The Greenwich resident was not given the courtesy of entering the first selectman's office and was left standing at the red phone that is now next to the First Selectman's front door.
Mr. Tesei's secretary told the North Mianus resident that she was too busy to make an appointment for Mr. Tesei, because of the town emergency and then hung up her end of the phone on the taxpayer
This Greenwich taxpayer who pays her and Mr. Tesei's salary was totally shocked by her rude behavior.
As the North Mianus resident hung up the phone two Greenwich Police Detectives who were sitting on Mr. Tesei's couch came out and asked, "What's the problem."
The North Mianus resident once again stated that he was seeking an appointment to speak to Mr. Tesei.
One of the Greenwich Detectives said, "Why don't you came back on Monday. She's having a very bad day."
It looks like Mr. Tesei's open door policy has been thrown out the window.
How is that North Mianus resident going to vote for or support Peter Tesei in the next election when he was treated so poorly at the First Selectman's front office door..
Would it have been too much to invite the North Mianus taxpayer and voter in to make an appointment to talk to his First Selectman.
I am sure this Greenwich resident would have understood if Mr. Tesei's would have had to make the appointment a week or two later.
It looks like Mr. Tesei has a huge backlog of meetings with very unsatisfied Greenwich residents.
This poorly handled storm is going to cost Mr. Tesei a great deal of support in town.
Mr. Tesei should be notified when one of his constituents is not invited into his office and told why the town resident is left holding the red phone in the hallway.
The red phone might be one of the dumbest Moves
Mr, Tesei Has Made In His Public Service Career.
