Greenwich Roundup — Yesterday's closely watched Quinnipiac University poll shows the energy and strength of Linda's grassroots supporters - people just like you from across Connecticut who are tired of the status quo and ready for something different. According to the poll, Linda now leads Rob Simmons 44% to 34%. Simmons had a 38-point lead back in September 2009 when Linda launched her outsider campaign to win the Republican nomination. In January, Linda trailed Simmons by 10 points. Today, she leads him by 10 points. The momentum behind Linda's campaign is real and undeniable. Linda's St. Patrick's Day surge prompted CT Capitol Report yesterday to run the headline: "Irish Eyes Are Smiling On McMahon." "The biggest movement for McMahon came among conservatives, who she's doing very well among right now," explains Quinnipiac poll director Doug Schwartz. "She's doing well among 'tea party' supporters, and also especially women." Our campaign's success shows how your hard work can make a difference. Now is the time to continue spreading the word about Linda to catapult her to a win against Dick Blumenthal in November. Be sure to connect with Linda on Facebook and share our YouTube videos of Linda on the trail with friends. Best regards,
