Dirty Dish Towel Asks, "Do You Want A piece ?"
To the Editor,
In reference to Susie Costaregni, also known as the Fabulous Used Dish Towel, popping up..
Anyone ever play "Where's Waldo"? Let's play "Where's Joe"? I mean Joe Pisani. If Susie is back, her dad/english teacher/personal life instructor/boy friend must be too! Where are you Joey?
Joe's supposed to be in NYC working at marketing firm. His days of chief editor are ended a year ago. Yet he can't seem to cut the apron string (or is it the Dish's G String), so he writes for simplistic web sites like "My Greenwich" which isn't worth a second look. Then there's that occasional column in the Greenwich Post, where Joe tries to pat himself on the back while commenting on the moral demise of mankind....yeah, Joe must be a better man than every other man alive!!!! He certainly lives a stellar life. LOL. Hey, if Joe lives in Orange CT, why the heck is he all the way down here in Greenwich?
Geez, we got more REAL LIFE DRAMA than we need, without the likes of Sleaz Monger Susie and Joe.
Hey Joe, can't you take a hint and take your cutie pie with you? Get lost!!!
This Is Real Life

Susie Costaregni Is Once Again Embarassing Hearst Newspapers With Her Mindless Reports.....
Greenwich Time
Scene "¦ Sports columnist Mike Lupica was seen having dinner at Valbella restaurant in Old Greenwich the night of Feb. 28 along with Regis and Joy Philbin. Seems that Regis mistook Lupica for another gentleman dining with a bevy of beauties. He did, however, finally meet up with Lupica. MaĆ®tre-d'-at-large Tony Capasso was busy bouncing back his famous trivia questions between Greenwich residents Marilou and Carlo Cantavero and Regis and Joy..... BLAH ..... BLAH ..... BLAH ..... BLAH ..... BLAH ..... BLAH ..... BLAH ..... BLAH ..... BLAH ....
But Wait There Is More.....
Scene "¦ Actress Anne Hathaway was seen recently on "Entertainment Tonight" boasting about her shopping sprees at Target in Stamford while filming "Rachel Getting Married." One of the scenes in the movie took place at Post Grocer's Deli on Long Ridge Road...... BLAH .... BLAH .... BLAH ..... BLAH .... BLAH ..... BLAH ..... BLAH ..... BLAH ..... BLAH .......
But Wait There Is Still More .....
And finally, the "Girl Standing in Nature" bronze statue by G. Segal in Bruce Park and the horses are dressed for winter. I noticed the bronze horse at the Merry-Go-Round Mews donning a lovely white winter scarf. Someone is keeping them warm in this unpredictable economy and keeping spirits bright in Greenwich.
And that's all for now.
Great to be back!

I Am Sure That Chris Fountain At The For What It's Worth Blog Is Equally Shocked That Susie Is BAAAAAACK At The Greenwich Time:
Freedom of the Press
Imagine that you had once worked as a real editor of a real newspaper, or that your father had founded a real newspaper and handed its reins over to you. Now imagine that you've ended your editing career with, or transformed your inheritance into, a light-weight vehicle for advertising and nothing more. Bummer, no?With that in mind, I'm happy to announce that my former paper, The Greenwich Post, has bravely faced down the scorn and ire of its advertisers and will, beginning September 18th, begin running Susie Costaregni's gossip column, "The Dish", every week! The public be damned, we're going to print what must be told. Right on, guys. Here's a taste of what the hard-hitting Dish will be serving up:
Greenwich residents Frank Gifford, the former NFL star and sports commentator, and Olympic gold medal swimmer Donna de Varona were seen having lunch at Valbella restaurant in Old Greenwich this past week; Regis Philbin and friends were spotted dining there Saturday, Jan. 20; and actor Jesse Bradford of "Swimfan" and "Flags of Our Fathers" fame ate there last week. And . . . at Valbella New York on West 13th Street, recent Golden Globe-winning actress and producer Salma Hayek of the popular sitcom "Ugly Betty" was seen having dinner.
And this:
Among the 300 friends, colleagues and dignitaries, including her favorite security guard, at the party were Randy Jones of the Village People; celebrity photographer James Edstrom; Fox News legal analyst Lis Wiehl and attorney Michael Sherman; MSNBC anchors Contessa Brewer, Alison Stewart and Chris Jansing; NBC anchor Carl Quintanilla; Lisa Bloom and Diane Dimond of Court TV; and actor Bobby Abid. Boyfriend and singer/songwriter Tomaczek Bednarek wrote a song for the occasion, "You Make the News." Cosby isn't taking a break. This week, she hosted a two-hour radio show on Sirius satellite radio. She heads to her alma mater, the University of South Carolina, next week to teach for a day. Then she travels to the Middle East, where she will speak at a conference.
No need to worry about the future of this paper now, that's for sure.

Dear Editor,
Can anyone explain Susie Costaregi's column "The Dish 2" in The Greenwich Post?????
What is its point? Does anyone care about these imaginary star sightings? And if the Greenwich Post is a community newspaper, although a poor one, why is Susie's SCENE SUDDENLY NEW YORK????
WHO IS INTERESTED IN this TEENBEAT-TYPE HYPE????
Why does the Town of Greenwich have to read Susie Costaregri's usless crap? Why do certain weekly newspapers (Hershan/Acorn) give Susie and her father figure-boy-toy, Joe Pisani, page space?
Not only do the two of them bore me by sharing special moments complimenting each other, they share the same imaginary poor writing. I notice some towns, like Darien, got rid of them. Why can't we do that?
I can't tell you how impressed I was to read Diana Ross was seen leaving the Greenwich library. That means WHAT????? That Diana can read?????? That Diana is too cheap to a book?? That the Greenwich Library is a MOTOWN magnet????......

Time 8:18 AM
Two middle aged men, one driving a black 2008 Hummer, the other a navy 2008 Saab SUV, pulled in at exactly the same time, to get gas. I couldn't help but notice, one man was wearing "CROCS" and a black leather jacket. Now, I was already awestruck by the cars, ahhh hmmmm....imagine my surprise when I got a look at these RED RUBBER CLOGS on a middle aged man's feet. Small feet too. Like a size 7. What man wears a size 7 anyway?
What the hell is that?Just when I thought I had seen all the drama this gossip girl gone guro could absorb before 9AM, who comes out of the passenger side door but a middle aged (TOTALLY grey roots ) woman with the same black leather jacket and-GET THIS- RED FRIGGIN CROCS!!!!!!I
said to myself "What the !@#$ is this? Are these !@#$%^&* for REAL? Do they know what they look like????
Lord have mercy on me.....Would I make this up just to land a job?
This is what's TOTALLY happening OUT THERE.
Until my next sensational sighting......stay tuned

Susie "The Dish" Won't Report About This Little Dinner Party?
It's Time For The Comfortable To Wine Dine And Pocket Line.
Jan and Bob Dilenschneider of Darien recently held a dinner party to introduce George Irish, president of Hearst Newspapers, aka Greenwich Time, Greenwich Citizen, Stamford Advocate, Darien News Review, Norwalk Advocate, Norwalk Citizen News, Connecticut Post etc., etc., etc., ....Give me a break?
We know who George Irish is and we are well aware of his stable of government compliant newspapers.
Among those attending the let's get to know George party were Stamford Mayor Dan Malloy and his wife, Cathy; Mary and Brian Cashman, general manager of the New York Yankees; Judy and Archie Cox, chairman of Barclays Americas; John and Janet Hartwell, head of Greens Farms Academy; Bishop William Lori; Janene and Richard Edlin, senior partner of the law firm Greenberg Traurig; Westport residents Chris and Jim Corgel of IBM; Bob Arnold, head of Family Centers; Judy and Tom McLane, CEO of RSR Partners; Mr. Corvino of Greenwich Hospital; Greenwich residents Nancy and Walter Raquet, CEO of WR Capital Management; Stamford residents Maryann and Jay Chai of J.W. Chai Consultancy; Jim Cabrera, managing partner of Antares; and Greenwich residents Lincoln and Irene Millstein. Mr. Dilenschneider is founder and CEO of The Dilenschneider Group, a global strategic counseling firm headquartered New York City.
Now you know why bad news about Jim Cabrera and Antares is always broken by out of town reporters from out of town newspapers......
.....Is Malloy kissing Hearst Media A$$, because he has something that is going to need a cover up?
When is George Irish going to show up on the streets of Greenwich and meet the real people of Greenwich. maybe George should meet with Hamilton Avenue parents who are repeatedly ignored by Greenwich Time Education Reporter Colin Gustafson......
.....George Irish's failure will be because he reached out and comforted the comfortable in Greenwich. George Irish's failure will be because he did not send Greenwich Time reporters out to report when the weakest members of Greenwich society were being afflicted......

Listen to Your Heart is filming 9/21 4-6 PM at the Greenwich train station.
Susie Costaregni probably missed this because she was at at Valbella in Riverside trying to get a picture of Regis and Joy Philbin eating over priced spaghetti.
