James J. Landy, President & CEO of Hudson Valley Bank, has announced the opening of a new full-service branch in Greenwich, CT at 500 West Putnam Avenue, Suite 402.
With three branches now open and more planned to open in the coming months, Hudson Valley Bank is making a major commitment to the banking needs of businesses and individuals in lower Connecticut, according to Mr. Landy. Currently, Hudson Valley Bank operates branches in Stamford and Westport, CT and has received approval for branches in Fairfield and Milford, CT. The bank is also considering additional Fairfield County locations.

The manager of Hudson Valley's Greenwich Branch is John A. Grassi, who has more than 20 years of banking experience, most recently as Vice President and Branch Manager for JP Morgan Chase in Old Greenwich, CT. "John, a resident of Eastchester, is familiar with the Greenwich community and has proven leadership and banking skills," Mr. Landy said.
Hudson Valley's Connecticut team also includes senior bankers and Connecticut residents, James W. Wood, Senior Vice President; Virginia Turnbull, First Vice President; and John J. Troy, Vice President.
The Greenwich Branch will focus on serving the deposit and lending needs of area attorneys and law firms, in particular, but also other professional service firms, businesses, not-for-profit organizations and individuals. The branch is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
