Greenwich Police Investigate Woman's Death

Police say woman is Kelsey J. Curley, 22.

Greenwich Police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old town woman who was found unresponsive in a Glenville home late Monday morning.

"At 11:18 AM Oct. 10 ..., members of the Greenwich Police Department and the Greenwich Emergency Medical Service responded to 6 Benders Dr., on the report of an unresponsive 22 year old female," according to a police statement released Tuesday morning.

"Upon arrival, the female was found unconscious and unresponsive. Officers and medical personnel on scene confirmed that the victim was deceased. The victim has been identified as Kelsey J. Curley, 22," according to the statement.

Kelsey Curley was found unconscious and unresponsive when officers arrived to her Pemberwick home at 11:18 a.m. Monday, police said. Officers and medical personnel confirmed Curley was dead.

The preliminary investigation, which is being handled by the Greenwich Police Department, did not reveal any suspicious activity,

The State of Connecticut Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy. Cause of death is pending the completion of toxicology analysis.

Curley was a 2008 graduate of Arch School, an alternative education program within the Greenwich Public School system. At the time of her graduation, Curley planned to attend Norwalk Community College in the fall.
