Saturday Morning Torah Study Start off the New Year "..in the beginning..." studying the Torah portion of the week in an informal setting with the Temple Sholom clergy team, who will rotate as teachers on a weekly basis. A light breakfast will be served. Class meets in Temple Sholom's Library on Shabbat mornings 8:30 - 9:30am beginning October 15th. Lunch 'n' Learn Feed the mind and the body, and study Jewish ethics through the lens of the rabbinic Sages with Rabbi Mitch. A kosher lunch will be served. Class meets in Temple Sholom's Davis Lounge on Tuesdays 12:00 - 1:00pm Hebrew for Beginners Need to brush up on your Hebrew skills? Join our Ritual Director, Ezra Konigsberg, for an introduction to the Hebrew language. Class meets in Temple Sholom's Room 210 on Wednesday mornings 10:00am - 11:30am beginning November 2nd Tales from the Torah: Our Legends and Language Join Cantor Asa for a look at our Biblical stories and the conversational Hebrew that will reveal some of the lessons that Torah is trying to teach us. Class meets in Temple Sholom's Davis Lounge on Wednesday evenings 7:00 - 8:30pm beginning October 26th Talmud Study: How Holy is the Holy Land? Join Rav David to learn about Israel's history and heritage as interpreted by the Sages of the Talmud. Class meets in Temple Sholom's Davis Lounge on Thursday evenings 7:00 - 8:30pm beginning October 27th
