Beach goers won't be allowed to swim, as the town plans to test water near town beaches Tuesday to check if stormwater runoff sent pollution into the waters off Greenwich.
If everything is fine when the Greenwich Department of Environmental Services gets the results back Wednesday, then the town will reopen the beaches.
The town is also urging residents who have their own wells that experienced flooding to disinfect them, since they may be contaminated.
