07/16/10 Greenwich Resident Ned Lamont Reminds Democrats:25 Days and Counting!

Dear Friend,

In the past few months, I have written to you with pride about the growth of Ned's grassroots campaign. We have opened field offices across the state, welcomed 2,500 volunteers to our campaign, made more than 600,000 phone calls, and held 15-20 canvasses every weekend.

And we're seeing great results. A new Quinnipiac University poll came out yesterday showing Ned with a solid lead among likely voters (the first time this measure has been used so far). In fact, Ned actually increased his lead from the June poll among registered Democrats, and now leads by 20 points!

Our online grassroots campaign is gathering strength as well. Our Facebook page features images and videos from the campaign trail, plus the latest news, updates, and a schedule of events. Click "like" on the top of our page, and then join us out on the campaign trail.

Grow the online power of this campaign by clicking this link and joining the campaign on Facebook.

The next few weeks will be just as exciting online as they will be out in the field. We will soon launch a full resource for registering to vote, finding voting information, and getting in contact with our field team, right on the front page of the website.

As one of our most loyal supporters, I also want to offer you the opportunity to get a first peek of one of our exciting new web tools. Our "People" page will allow you to connect with other supporters, upload pictures and video, and become a part of our online community - together, we can help Ned get Connecticut back on offense.

Thanks,

Joe
