Greenwich, Conn. (June 14, 2010) – Family Centers’ public relations and communications efforts received top honors at the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) Mercury Awards ceremony on Thursday, June 10 at Anthony’s Ocean View Restaurant in New Haven.

The agency’s 2009 Annual Report was named “Best in Show” amongst the competition’s 25 PR tactical award winners. Entitled Plugged In To the Community, the Annual Report showcased the success stories of 28 clients to illustrate how Family Centers makes a difference in the lives of people in the community. Judges lauded the report for its colorful design, powerful photos and use of client testimonials. The 2009 Annual Report was designed by New Leaf Design of Fairfield and printed by Keno Graphics of Shelton.

In addition to the “Best in Show” honor, the 2009 Annual Report earned a Gold Mercury Award in the Annual Reports-Non Profit category.
