11/13/09 Letters From Greenwich Time Readers - No longer reading

To the editor:

Recently my husband opted not to re-subscribe to Greenwich Time after 30-plus years. He neglected to say why.

Now, I choose to let you know that your paper is pathetic. It's a couple of pages of drivel and sensationalism -- the woman who lost her face, the doctor having sex in the O.R., the character assassination of a respected local physician and obituaries from everywhere else because there just aren't enough of us dying.

Your left-leaning contributors especially the political cartoons and articles like Sarah Littman's castigation of the GOP as anti-Semitic are only a few of the reasons.

It is a sad commentary that people aren't reading the paper anymore. Do you wonder why?
