Video: Hitler-like images of Obama create uproar in Cos Cob

pair of posters portraying Barack Obama as Adolf Hitler -- a toothbrush moustache added to the president's visage -- stopped visitors to the Cos Cob post office in their tracks Thursday.

They were placed next to a table on the sidewalk by Joe Billington and Margaret Greenspan, a brother-sister tandem of demonstrators from Hackensack, N.J., who are opposed to Obama's public insurance health-care initiative.

The duo is affiliated with a political action committee founded by Lyndon LaRouche Jr., an eight-time candidate for president and lightning-rod figure who has run under the banner of the Labor Party and as a Democrat......

....Janet Hamm, 71, who identified herself as a registered Republican from Greenwich, gave $20 to the duo.

A cancer survivor herself, Hamm said she has concerns about bureaucrats making decisions about her medical care.

"I'm not happy with someone deciding when I'm supposed to die," Hamm said.

Irene Senter, 79, a registered Democrat from Cos Cob and former chairman of the town's Affirmative Action Advisory Committee, bristled when she was approached by the demonstrators.

"I'm not on your side," Senter said.

Cos Cob is the home neighborhood of U.S. Rep. Jim Himes, D-4, an unabashed supporter of the public insurance option who has hosted three town hall meetings this week on health-care reform.......

Sarah Palin And Lyndon LaRouche Jr Both Have This Crazy Idea That A Government-Run Insurance Program Will Create So-Called "Death Panels" Of Bureaucrats Who Will Act Like Nazi's And Decide Which Patients Will Get Medical Attention.
