...Walt Cheruk of Greenwich was appointed senior vice president of client solutions and digital advertising sales with Discovery Communications in New York City.
He will manage the creative development and outlook for digital advertising sales offerings across Discovery's digital properties. He will provide digital strategy and guidance to national advertising sales and will interface with marketing and corporate business units.
Cheruk worked at Digitas/Modem Media, where he supervised operations of the client-based media services group. He has served as vice president of sales and marketing for National Geographic Society.
and was vice president of market development and advertising strategies at Women.com. Cheruk began his career as an assistant media planner at Backer Spielvogel Bates. He also held senior media planning roles with Ally & Gargano, North Castle Partners and Modem Media.
