BREAKING NEWS Posted 3:09 p.m., Friday, Aug. 1, 2008 A missing Greenwich woman has turned up alive and well in Nanuet, N.Y. Rosa Packard, a retired teacher, had been reported missing by family members on Wednesday after last being seen at about 10 a.m. in the Glenville area. She was found Friday in Nanuet. Police launched an investigation of the woman, who was driving a black Toyota Prius, but the disappearance had not been considered suspicious. Investigations continue. The family confirmed to the Post on Friday that Ms. Packard had been found. Details surrounding why she left the area and ended up in Nanuet are unclear, but family members are on their way to pick her up this afternoon. Officers are expected to speak with her on her return to Connecticut. Full coverage will be available in Thursday’s Greenwich Post newspaper.
