Helen Rounds Rowan

Helen Rounds Rowan, a longtime summer resident of Block Island and the wife of author/journalist Roy Rowan, died in her home in Greenwich, Conn., on Nov. 19. She was 91. Born in Detroit, Michigan, on Nov. 5, 1922, she attended Olivet, a small liberal arts college in Michigan, where she majored in painting and sculpture.
