Sisterhood is preparing its two High Holiday publications
a New Years Greeting card that is mailed to all members, and
the Yom Kippur Book of Remembrance.
All congregants have been mailed either a blank form or one that contains information from prior years' submissions for editing/updating. Please return your completed form and donation check by September 5 to insure inclusion in this year's editions. The monies raised from these two publications are the major source of funding for Sisterhood's many projects and programs.

Join us for a beautiful, moving and mystical beginning to the Days of Awe, as we prepare our minds, hearts and souls to enter the Gates of Prayer. If you have never attended Selichot,this short, meditative service is filled with introspective prayers and haunting High Holiday melodies. Dessert will be served.

Let the games begin...
Monday, September 10th, at 7:00pm
Sisterhood will begin its monthly Mah Jongg evenings for experienced and beginner players.
This is a great opportunity to learn how to play. Our instructor will be available to teach the newbies.
Cost is $10 to play with the instructor, $5 for all others. Please let us know if you can bring a Mah Jongg set! Temple members and nonmembers are welcome.

Ivrit l'Hadassah is a whole-language approach to the study of Hebrew and includes focus on reading, comprehension, speaking, writing and grammar. Classes meet 90 minutes per week. Exact time TBD. Classes to be held at Stamford JCC. Open to Hadassah members and Associates and also to new members / Associates! Annual fee for 12 month session (which includes all written materials): $72. Jewish High Holidays Prep Class for Non-Jewish Moms raising Jewish children

6:30pm - 8:30pm at the Greenwich Library
This two hour class is designed for women who seek information and want to discover how they can enrich their family's experience of the High Holidays. This prep class is a free, fun, and interactive session that will prepare participants to celebrate Rosh Hashanah and honor Yom Kippur in more meaningful ways with their families.
