The League of Women Voters of Greenwich has been receiving numerous inquiries on how to vote for the Board of Education this year. Our Voters Guide will appear on November 4 as a pull-out section of Greenwich Time and The Citizen; it will explain the voting procedures and provide other non-partisan information to allow voters to cast a better-informed ballot. Until then, we are pleased to respond to phone or email inquiries.
There are four Board of Education seats to be filled. There are six candidates on the ballot: two Democrats and four Republicans. Voters may vote for any four of the six candidates. Because the Board of Education is a bipartisan board, only the two highest vote getters from each political party will be seated.
Each polling place will have a sample ballot. The moderator will answer any questions you may have regarding this or any other vote.
Please vote on November 8; polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
