Open-door access to the leadership of the town, a hallmark of First Selectman Peter Tesei's administration, isn't what it used to be.
Visitors to the selectmen's office suite at Town Hall must now be buzzed in by the receptionist, using a recently installed red telephone outside the front door. A video camera was also mounted on the ceiling above the phone to give Tesei's aides a birds-eye view of callers on closed-circuit television.
