In a move to prevent cell towers from being erected close to schools, Greenwich's state legislators are proposing a bill that would prevent the towers from locating within 750 feet of a school or a day care. Comment

Starwood VP Ed “Edd” Hendee killed while skiing in Vermont
A V.P at Starwood Capital in Greenwich, Connecticut was killed this weekend while skiing with friends and family in Southern Vermont.

Ed K. Hendee, who is also known as Edd, was killed on Sunday after he veered off an expert ski trail on Stratton Mountain and struck a tree. It is believed that Hendee was not wearing a helmet.

According to reports, upon responding to an emergency call around 11:10 a.m. Ski Patrol found Hendee laying on the trail suffering from cardiac arrest.He was rushed to a nearby clinic where he was pronounced dead around 12:01 p.m.

Hendee was the son of Houston conservative radio talk show host and the owner of the famed Texas restaurant “Taste of Texas”, Edd Hendee.

The 33-year-old Greenwich resident received his MBA from Harvard and worked for Starwood Capital since May 2006.

Hendee, who was regarded as an expert skier, is survived by his wife Claudine and three young children.
