02/04/10 Reader Submitted Comments: The Greenwich Time Is Just Too Damn Nosey Or Just What Are Going To Do With My Personal Information? Sell It ?

Dear Greenwich Roundup, I and my friends don't send comments to Greenwich Time's ECHO comment site. Our major problem is their way too nosey registration form. They can have my email address but the rest of the registration form is more information than I wish to give. - Signed I Just Want To Comment On A Local News Story, Not Give Blood

COMMENT: Dear I Just Want To Comment On A Local News Story, Not Give Blood, Greenwich Roundup has been told that a couple of their other blog sites only require an email address. So this is one way to get your comments into Greenwich Time without filling out the onerous registration form. However, why should you have to jump through hoops for this Hearst Newspaper. Just go to TOPIX and avoid the restrictions at the Greenwich Time.
