Armed Robbery at Estate Treasures
At 10:19 A.M., this date, members of the Uniformed Services and
Detective Division were detailed to 1162 East Putnam Avenue on a report
of a 911 call reporting an armed robbery thereat.
Subsequent investigation revealed that two (2) black males wearing
masks and gloves entered Estate Treasures just after the business
opened, brandishing handguns and robbing the business of an undetermined
amount of jewelry. The subjects then fled the establishment on foot.
With the assistance of the Connecticut State Police Canine Unit a
search was conducted of the area but met with negative results in
locating the two (2) wanted subjects.
The subjects wanted are described as
Subject 1: Black male 6’-6’2”, thin build wearing a black and white
short sleeved shirt, blue jeans.
Subject 2: Black male 5’8’, heavy set wearing a gray shirt, blue
jeans and dark colored sneakers.
The Department recovered a stolen vehicle at the scene which was
reported stolen out of Bridgeport.
