Regrettably, I peeked at the "Our Joe" web site for the first time. There is very little there in sustance.
"Our Joe", is really not NEWS. It is a blog of uneducated opinion, much of which proves its writers don't have a clue about much of anything..... including the basics of politics, religion, or vocabulary.
Sarah Littman makes references to why she is supporting Obama, stating this canidate supports Embryonic Stem Cell Reasearch.
What she fails to acknowlege, is that the current administration supports ESCR, but they do not support abortion as a means to acquire cells. However, cells can be taken from an aborted fetus because abortion is legal. Stem cells are also obtained while the fetus is viable, in vitro. This would be important if a sibling had Diabetes, Cancer, or 25 other diseases. Stem cells can be obtained and saved,POST EMBRYONIC, at birth, and is now a highly reccomended practice. The decision only requires a signature before delivery. The fact: McCain supports this.
Finally, in the cases of infertility, it is common for 7 eggs to be removed, fertilized outside the womb, and 3-4 are placed back, in vitro. The remaining fertilized eggs are then frozen or thrown away. These are LIVE embryos MEANING they have all the genetic DNA of both parents, with millions of highly specialized cells rapidly changing. Most of us consider this to be nothing less of a miracle. The fact: this is when life begins.
Obama supports abortion. For most of the women who have abortion, studies indicate these woman have more than one, and for them, it is simply an "oops" type of birth control. However, the fact is it is murder.
Ms. Littman, learn your scientific facts before you become "angry", and accept that there is NO DIFFERENCE between Pro-Life and Pro-Choice. I hope embroynic stem cell reasearch will help your daughter, though it doesn't have to be at the expense of a potential life.

However, Like You Many People In My Church Are Dissatisfied With How The Country Has Been Run During The Last 5 Years, But The Are Voting For John McCan't Because Of The Abortion Issue.

Show Me One Other Town In Connecticut That Doesn't Release The Names Of Drivers Who Kill Someone, Speeds Away And Crashes Into A Telephone Pole Way Down The Road.
