Scott Lawson, 19, of Greenwich, Connecticut, was charged with possession of a forged instrument in the second degree at 2:35 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, at the intersection of South Erie Avenue and South Euclid Avenue. Police tried to pull him over for driving 10 mph over the speed limit and said the defendant refused to yield. Full disclosure - I know Phil Tarantino and he's a stand-up guy (not to mention an "Exit 55" reader). I'm sure he's strict with athletes, though I've never seen him in action. So what exactly drove somebody to this?
