What a good idea! I hope you will do this with me.
Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD this year.
As they are working hard to get rid of CHRISTMAS, we could send them a card showing support for a Christ filled holiday.
Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it. And be sure to let them know exactly how you feel and believe about their position.
Here's the address
ACLU
125 Broad Street
18th Floor
New York , NY 10004
Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions. It only takes 44 cents to tell the ACLU we believe in Christmas. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a " Holiday Tree". It's always been called a CHRISTMAS TREE!
And pass this on to your email lists, using Bcc. We want to communicate our faith to the ACLU! We value the phrase, "One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all." That means something.
The ACLU, (the American Civil Liberties Union) is the one suing the U.S. Government to take God, Christmas or anything religious away from us. Nativity scenes are even banned in government places now. Prayers are not allowed in schools. We need to send our voice, so they know how many people value their freedom. Hope you take time to send a card. |

The town Health Department reports it has a couple of hundred doses of H1N1 vaccine still available for its upcoming clinic on Dec. 2. In addition to the groups that have already been given priority -- pregnant women, children 6 months to 6 years old, people age 7 to 24 with medical conditions, and household contacts and caregivers of children less than 6 months old -- the Wednesday clinic will be open to people age 24 to 64 with medical conditions. Greenwich residents and nonresidents with a doctor in town can call the department's flu hotline at 203-622-3774 to register for the clinic.===================================Please send your comments, news tips and press releases to GreenwichRoundup@gmail.com

Bowflex "Revolution" Home Gym - TOP OF THE LINE MODEL $1800This is the Best model made by Bowflex. This is a top of the line piece of commercial quality gym equipment. It simply doesn't get any better than this machine. Save OVER $1600 if purchased new today, and it was barely used.....IT DOES EVERYTHING including 100 + workouts routines which will help you to achieve amazing results. Rated top gym in 2 fitness magazines: Men’s Health Magazine had nothing but positive things to say about this model. The machine came out to $3,500+ new with tax & shipping to get to me in CT where I purchased it. I know as I used my neighbors for 6 months 3 times a week before buying my own. This is by far one of the highest quality home gyms I have ever seen, tried, or experienced. The weight is as consistent as machines you find in a gym costing thousands. The limited space that the Revolution takes up is simply amazing when you realize just how much it can actually do! Changing from one exercise to the next takes literally seconds. The most impressive thing about the Bowflex Revolution is the QUALITY. It's smooth, it’s durable, and it's convenient! It's a great product! It folds upright and locks in place for a smaller footprint when not in use if space is tight....see pictures below. If you're thinking about buying one of these new you're going to save $1700 for the exact same machine. This works perfectly, but since I moved, I have no room for it and have it setup in my garage. Please refrain from making ridiculous offers. This is very high end piece of commercial quality gym equipment. For that matter, I cannot respond to any offers less than $1,800. "Helping people is cool," says Greenwich's Zach Bai, the guitarist and vocalist for Harm's Way, a teen rock band, shortly after it took first prize in the "Please Don't Stop the Music" contest. Harm's Way beat out three other Fairfield County bands and helped raise more than $3,000 for PeaceWorks, an anti-bullying program in the Domestic Violence Crisis Center, which has offices in Stamford and Norwalk. Other members of the Greenwich-oriented band include drummer Chris Clark, vocalist/guitarist Vince Urbanowski and bassist Alex Crawford. Not only does the band appear to have its social priorities in order, but with a sound described as "hard rock tweaked with a little punk," Harm's Way is doing its part to make sure the cause of good music is served as well. ================================== Please send your comments, news tips and press releases to GreenwichRoundup@gmail.com

I respect Joe Lieberman for not letting this healthcare bill get ramrodded through. The house members including Jim Himes haven't read the whole thing through and probably have been given selling points to tell their districts, I would think that a bill of this magnitude would require a little more time and discussion before passing, what's the rush, it won't take effect before 2013. Jim Himes would probably never have voted for this if he was still at Goldman Sachs, it flys in the face of free enterprise . Chris Dodd, Mr. I never knew anything, give me a break, The democrats have to come out from under Pelosi's skirt and do whats right for the country. I'm sure their healthcare plan for which they pay nothing for will not be affected at all. So before everyone knocks Joe Lieberman, think about the size and cost of this pending disaster of a bill.
