"Helping people is cool," says Greenwich's Zach Bai, the guitarist and vocalist for Harm's Way, a teen rock band, shortly after it took first prize in the "Please Don't Stop the Music" contest.
Harm's Way beat out three other Fairfield County bands and helped raise more than $3,000 for PeaceWorks, an anti-bullying program in the Domestic Violence Crisis Center, which has offices in Stamford and Norwalk.
Other members of the Greenwich-oriented band include drummer Chris Clark, vocalist/guitarist Vince Urbanowski and bassist Alex Crawford.
Not only does the band appear to have its social priorities in order, but with a sound described as "hard rock tweaked with a little punk," Harm's Way is doing its part to make sure the cause of good music is served as well.
