Hersam Acorn newspapers announced Monday that it will cease the print publication of its Greenwich Post, Fairfield Sun and Valley Gazette newspapers. In a "message to our valued readers" posted on each of those respective newspaper's websites, Hersam Acorn Chief Operating Officer Martin Hersam said, "This was a difficult decision, but despite having an extremely talented and dedicated staff there was not adequate advertising to support continued publication."
