Cain Hoy Enterprises said in a statement released Friday that it is "at the preliminary stages of assessing a cash offer" for Tottenham and must announce whether it intends to make an official bid by no later than Oct. 10. Cain Hoy, whose headquarters are in Greenwich, Connecticut, said it was releasing the statement "without the consent of Tottenham Hotspur."
