Each session will link mind, body, and Torah with a different focus on elements of Jewish spirituality. Sisterhood's Book Club Tuesday, December 6th, 7:00pm Sisterhood's monthly book club will continue with The Bookseller's Sonnets by Andi Rosenthal. Andi's book was chosen as a 2011 "Book of Note" by Jewish Book World and has been a "Conversations" selection by the Hadassah-Brandeis Institute. Copies of the book can be purchased on Amazon or any book retailer as softcover or ebook. Everyone in the congregation is invited to participate! SAVE THE DATE Young Children's Family Service: Latkes and Pajamas! Friday, December 16th, 5:30 pm Join us for a special Chanukah edition of Young Children's Family Service (YCFS) with Reb Allison and special musical guest Sheldon Low. Kids should come in their pajamas! Come sing songs, celebrate Chanukah & Shabbat and enjoy home-made latkes.
We will also kick off our pajama donation drive to benefit The Pajama Program, an organization which collects pajamas and books for children in foster care and group homes. Please bring a NEW pair of pajamas and a new book with you to donate to these children, who may not have a pair of pajamas or a story to read at bedtime.
