| Check out Sisterhood's Upcoming Programs!  Book Club, Wednesday, October 26th, 7:00pm
Sisterhood's new monthly book club will begin with My Father's Paradise by Ariel Sabar. The discussion will be led by Marilyn Schwartz, a Temple Sholom member and experienced book club facilitator. Three copies of the book are available in the Temple Sholom library or they can be purchased on Amazon as softcover or ebook. Men and women are welcome to participate. Neshama Yoga resumes on Friday, November 4th. Cost for the six-week program is $122.31, Each session will link mind, body, and Torah with a different focus on elements of Jewish spirituality. Film Screening at Temple Sholom
The Human Resources Manager Tuesday, November 1st at 7:30pm as part of the Fairfield County Jewish Arts & Film Festival, in partnership with the Stamford JCC.
 Winner of five Israeli Academy Awards in 2010, The Human Resources Manager is a comedy-drama centered on the Human Resources manager of Israel's largest industrial bakery, who is trying to save the reputation of his business by preventing the publication of a defamatory article. | | | In and Around the Community... WAJ Meals on Wheels Needs Your Help! Meals on Wheels is looking for volunteers to be responsible for one of the routes every Thursday morning. Delivery takes 1 -1 1/2 hours and the commitment is three times/year. You can deliver in teams of two so friends can sign up together or they will find you a partner. They are also in need of substitute drivers who can fill in, sometimes on short notice. Our Sisterhood has been involved in this program for over 30 years and we need new volunteers to keep it going. Meals on Wheels would also like to put in a special thank you to Phyllis Rackowitz and Evelyn Sutin who are retiring this year. Each month, the group celebrates the new Jewish month through activities explaining important Jewish women, ideas, values and topics relevant to teenage girls.
