Western Greenwich Civic Center to Serve as Shelter During Irene (Patch)
As Hurricane Irene approaches, the Town of Greenwich has designated the Western Greenwich Civic Center as an emergency shelter effective 10 a.m., Saturday, August 27.

Update: 8/25/11 An 18-year-old Greenwich man was arrested Tuesday evening in connection with the overdose death of Christopher Harris, who died of a drug overdose on January 8. After learning of a warrant for his arrested, William Nelson surrendered to Greenwich police. He was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy to possess narcotics.
