Versailles to move to larger space (Connecticut Post)
Versailles will soon be able to bring a bit more of France to Greenwich Avenue. Ingrid and Steve McMenamin of Greenwich, who in December 2008 took over Versailles after the death of founder Maurice Clos-Versailles , plan to move the 1,200-square-foot cafe and patisserie, at 315 Greenwich Ave., to a 2,000-square-foot space at 339 Greenwich Ave. New citizens in honor of the 4th (The Day)

Bear spotted in backcountry Greenwich, Connecticut (EXCLUSIVE) (theoriginalgreenwichdiva)
Residents on a quiet backcountry road in Greenwich, Connecticut called 911 early Thursday morning after spotting a bear in the neighborhood. Backcountry resident Gary Rothman said that while taking his usual early morning walk, he spotted the eight-foot animal "just hanging out" at 25 Buckfield Lane. "It surprised me," Rothman said. "I have lived in this neighborhood for over thirteen years and this is the first time I have seen one." Animal control, who responded to the early morning call, said that by the time they arrived where the animal was spotted, it was already gone.
