In his short time on the job, he has already demonstrated strong interpersonal and technical skills. As a long-time resident of Greenwich, he understands the values of the community, and as a parent of two graduates of Greenwich High School, he understands the schools.”As Managing Director of Operations, Dr. Lichtenfeld will be responsible for Departments previously overseen by the Assistant Superintendent for Business Operations, including Budget and Systems,Facilities and Maintenance, Transportation, Food Services, and IT/MIS, and will add the Departmen tof Human Resources. The appointment of the Managing Director of Operation fills the last vacancy on the Superintendent’s Cabinet.
