GREENWICH -- A Greenwich Hospital doctor embroiled in litigation with his former mistress has stepped down from his director post after news of a salacious sex scandal went public earlier this week.
Dr. Stephen Carolan, 52, of Greenwich, voluntarily resigned as director of obstetrics and gynecology while the hospital investigates the accusations in a lawsuit recently filed in state Superior Court in Bridgeport.

Pawlush said the resignation is on an interim basis and will not affect his medical privileges.
"His status at the hospital is unchanged," Pawlush said.......

Greenwich Diva: you fell for the Mark Sherman litigation plan to use the press to beat up the plaintiff in this case. Greenwich Hospital investigated the Kent complaints, and completely cleared the doctor. This is a defamation case - and the defamation continued with the (false) allegations contained in the legal papers. They were geared to get press attention, that's it. You fell for it, hook line and sinker. You should delete these blog posts - it's not "news" - you are being used by Mickey Sherman Junior as part of his litigation plan. Sucker.
P.S. Christopher Fountain refused to play the Sherman litigation press game - he deleted his blog posts on this subject in their entirety. You really should do the same, you are not reporting the 'news', you are being used.
